Lymington Writers Creative Writing Competition

We are now open for entries, for short stories and Flash fiction:

Short story (up to 2500 words) – on the theme: ‘Community’ – First Prize £100
Flash Fiction (up to 500 words) – on the theme: ‘The Centre’ – First Prize £50
All shortlisted work will be published in The Lymington Anthology

Entry fees are £5 for Short Story and £3 for Flash Fiction (Open category).
Free for Under-19s – Winners will receive a book of published short stories.

Bestselling writer, Claire Fuller, author of Bitter Orange, Our endless numbered days and Swimming Lessons will judging the competition.

Claire Fuller added ‘I’m delighted to be judging this competition in aid of the Community Association Appeal. I’m really looking forward to reading the entries, and I’m sure it’s going to be difficult to pick the winners.’
