Maintaining the security of your data is a priority at LCA, and we are committed to respecting your privacy rights. We pledge to handle your data fairly and legally at all times. LCA is also dedicated to being transparent about what data we collect about you and how we use it. LCA may collect, use and store your personal data, as described in this notice and as described when we collect data from you, for example, in Membership Application forms, Affiliation forms, Room booking forms, Gift Aid Forms, LCA Study Classes Application forms and Sponsorship forms.
We process personal data for:
- Administration of individual/ affiliation membership records
- Administration of room bookings
- Processing Gift Aid applications
- Fundraising, sponsorship and promotion of the interests of the charity
- Management of our employees, trustees and volunteers
- Preschool registration
- Maintaining our own accounts and records
Website Cookies:
LCA gather and use certain information about individuals in order to provide products and services and to enable certain functions on our website.
LCA also collect information to better understand how visitors use our website and to present timely, relevant information to them.
Wifi:
When you use the LCA Wi-Fi we may collect data about:
- your device
- the volume of data which you use
- your usage by access time, frequency and location.
CCTV
Our data processing also includes the use of CCTV systems for the prevention of crime. CCTV recordings are shared with the police at their request.
Newsletters
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or by contacting our data protection officer, on Reception@lymingtoncommunity.com or telephone: 01590 672337
Ticketing Data
When you purchase a ticket (or tickets) through LCA Reception or online, your name, address data, email and contact number will be stored in our Box Office system, Ticketsource. (https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/kb/terms-of-use/privacy-policy)
You may, of course, purchase a ticket (or tickets) in person without supplying the aforementioned personal data. (We always ask for a name and telephone number when booking tickets in case of cancellation)
Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.
Access to your personal information
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold.
