Applications for Membership

Membership of the Theatregoers’ Club is restricted to members of the Lymington Community Association. If you are not a member of the LCA you must join before applying for Theatregoers’ membership. The Theatregoers’ Club subscription is £5 for the first year and £2 per year thereafter, payable on 1st July, by bankers order only.


What’s On?

We aim to provide two theatre & two music outings every month. Monthly programmes are placed in the box marked “LCA Theatregoers” in the entrance hall of the Centre on the 10th of each month. Also at the Milford on Sea Community Centre.


Booking an Outing

Applications close on the 20th of the month. The booking slip should be completed with all details, including where you wish to join the coach, and sent to the person named on the slip. It should be accompanied by a separate cheque (not cash) payable to ‘LCA Theatregoers Club’ and stamped addressed envelope, for each outing. Bookings are accepted strictly in order of receipt; cheques will be returned if the outing is over-subscribed or cancelled. Members wishing to sit together should apply together. Tickets will be posted to you in due course.

Non-members may be invited, but priority is accorded to members. A non-member may be included in the application slip – marking the name “NM” – and accompanied by a separate cheque and s.a.e., so that it can be returned if the application is unsuccessful. You should indicate if you do not wish to go without the non-member.



Coaches leave The Lymington Centre, opposite the New Street entrance, promptly at the time advertised. Add 10 to 15 minutes for subsequent pick-up points.



The Club cannot dispose of unwanted tickets, nor make refunds. It is possible, however, that there may be a waiting-list, so you should contact the person named on the application form for advice.
